About Xin 2
Xin 2 is a variety adapted to the harsh continental climate of the Uyghur Region and stands out for its resilience. With high tolerance to winter cold and common walnut diseases, its output fluctuates less from year to year.
It is valued for its elegant, white, smooth shell reminiscent of a pebble, a taste close to Chandler, light kernels and crunchy texture. Early bearing and steady yields make it a reliable choice for large-volume, consistent supply. Its shell is slightly thicker than 185's, which lowers breakage and cracking on long-distance shipments.
The kernel has a high oil content of 67–69%, which makes it a strong choice for cold-pressed walnut oil, walnut butter and walnut milk. Its in-shell raw material cost is lower than 185’s, making it an economical option for the food industry, bakery products and oil production.
